The use of this site,the purchase of the products on the online shop Dépendace Studio17 and the services offered by Studio17 by Gabriele Mallegni and Caterina Sbrana means that the user accepts these terms and conditions.
Prices and Payments
Prices are quoted in Euros and include VAT.
The customer can pay trough Paypal or bank transfer. The shipment of the purchased artworks will take place only after completing the payment.
Orders on commission and ad hoc projects
If you are interested in a custom artwork or a in a tailored project or you would like something similar to an object that is no longer available on Dèpendance Studio17 shop, you can contact us here, we will arrange on times and costs.
For custom works we require a 30% deposit on the total price.
Shipments
Studio17 ships to Italy with a professional courier.
Shipping costs are calculated directly in the shop during the order process and automatically added to the final price based on the postal code and on the weight and volume of the purchased piece.
Each work and object purchased in the shop or customized is shipped suitably packaged and with its own certificate of authenticity hand-signed by the author.
Pick up or shop on site
if you wish to come and visit us at the Studio workshop to give a look at the artworks, to find out more about production techniques,to purchase an object or order and custom a piece face to face, contact us to schedule an appointment.
You can also choose to pick up the objects of the on line shop in person,here at the workshop,avoiding shipping costs. In that case,instead of proceeding with the on line procedure, we ask you to contact us, if available we will set aside the piece for you and we will arrange an appointment for the picking up.
Delivery time
The maximum delivery time of the piece available on the Dépendance Studio17 shop can vary from 7 to 10 working days from the moment of the order and of the related payment by the customer.
The delivery time concerned to custom and tailored pieces is going to be agreed between us and the customer at the moment of the commission.
Both in the case of items purchased in the shop or in the case of custom orders, Studio17 is not responsible for the shipment delays due to unauthorized payments or due to the courier responsibility. We also ask you to consider that delivery times could be longer in the event of adverse weather conditions or deliveries to places that are difficult to reach (e.g. rural).
In the case of urgent orders (for example presents) please contact us here, we will be happy, where possible, to shorten the times and fulfill your request.
In the unfortunate event that Studio17 is unable to ship the item or items ordered due to circumstances beyond our control or for reasons not attributable to Studio17 itself, Studio 17 declines all responsibility for damages to the customer and only undertakes to return the amount or to replace the piece or pieces of the order with others in agreement with the customer.
Shipments pick-up and damaged shipments
In the event that the customer discovers any tampering, breakage or damage to the packaging of the items at the moment of the delivery, we invite him to immediately contest the circumstance to the courier.
Therefore, we invite you to refuse the shipment or to pick it up it “with reserve” explaining the details of the damage to the package and to the items and we invite you to open the package in the presence of the courier.
Otherwise, once the delivery documents have been signed, the customer will no longer be able to raise any objection.
In the unlikely event that you should be unable to contest the event directly to the courier, in any case we advise you to collect the package by signing under the space provided “I agree with reserve” and once damages to the packaging and internal goods have been found, you should immediately contact us (preferably within max 48 hours by the picking up and in any case within the time terms established by law) at [email protected], attaching to the mail photos of the object and of the internal and external packaging and writing us details and explaining us the motivation of the missed direct reclaim to the courier.
Once we have received and evaluated these informations, we will contact you for managing the event in the best way.
Information and warnings on artworks and art objects
Our shop offers unique pieces,author’s artworks and art objects made entirely by hand through ancient handcraft processes, every imperfection (e.g. on the patina of the surfaces of the objects,or about the color variations due to the natural color of the clay used…)is actually an essential peculiarity, and it is to be seen as a guarantee of our production process which makes each work different from the other. Therefore, any complaints regarding such imperfections related to the artisan processes that we use will not be considered.
Variations in the color or tone, or small details of the surfaces may vary from to the material object purchased to its photographic reproduction on the website,such minimum variations may depend on various factors (screen quality, any settings and software),therefore any related complaint to these minor details will not be considered.
Ceramic pieces and jewels must be handled with care,they must not be subjected to aggressive washing or cleaning nor are they suitable for ovens, microwaves and dishwashers, every damage caused to our pieces due to an inappropriate practice is not under our responsibility.
Returns procedure according to Legislative Decree 206/05
The right of return can be exercised according to the Consumer Code within 14 days from the purchase of the item. In this case the customer must send written notice with return receipt, within 14 days from the item order, to: Studio17,Via Vittorio Veneto 17, Pontasserchio, San Giuliano Terme, Pisa.
At the same time the customer must send also and a contextual mail to [email protected] announcing the return.
The customer can return the purchased item provided that it is intact and as received in all its parts, without any sign of use or wearing,and perfectly packed in all parts in its original packaging, accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. Damaged, broken, dirty, used or worn items, with partial or damaged package will not be accepted. Once the object has been received, Studio17 will proceed to ascertain its integrity and the correspondence to the aforementioned requirements and then we will proceed with the refund.
In any case Studio17 is not going to accept items sent by cash on delivery or assigned amount.
The return shipment costs are charged to the customer who is responsible for the shipment and traceability of the items.
The non compliance with the aforementioned return procedure terms and times entails the failure of the return procedure itself.
The items object of an uncorrect return procedure or thas has been sent to Studio17 damaged or with a damaged or partial package or without certificate or in a way that does not comply with the indicated procedure won’t be picked up and the new return costs to the customer will be charged to the customer itself or, in case of internal damage that can be verified only after the opening of the box, the package with the piece will stay at your disposal for 30 days during which you can pick them up at your expense at our studio address. Beyond 30 days Studio 17 declines all responsibility for the item in question.
The return procedure can’t be applied to custom and tailored pieces, artworks and object.
The return procedure can’t be exercised by those customers who have bough with VAT and for commercial or professional purposes.
Data Processing
Studio17 undertakes to respect the privacy of customers using personal data only for the needs relating to the purchase and shipment of the purchased items, for the communications with the customer about the orders and to fulfill customer requests, in compliance with the privacy legislation.
