International Prize for Ceramic Art Baccio da Montelupo
The winners of the First Edition of the Baccio da Montelupo International Ceramic Art Prize have been announced: Gabriele Mallegni and Caterina Sbrana have won the first prize with the work “Still Life II” in the Tableware category.
The 25 shortlisted works have been selected by:
Cinzia Bitossi, President of Bitossi Foundation and Bitossi Ceramiche
Silvana Annicchiarico, Director and curator of the Triennale di Milano
Francesco Valtolina, artistic director of Mousse Magazine
Marco Tonelli, Artistic Director of Materia Prima
Fausto Berti, Scientific Manager of the Municipality of Montelupo for the historical and archaeological heritage.
The shortlisted exhibition will be shown at the Ceramic Museum of Montelupo from 20 June to 25 September.
