During her residency at the Materia Prima Art foundation, Caterina Sbrana has been working on landscape and on the self-production of ancient pigments as the vine black, an ancient pigment obtained from the combustion of vine shoots.
Caterina used vine black to trace visions of the surrounding landscape from various points of view, some landscapes are also inspired by digital visions of the landscape.
One of the paintings acquired in the collection of the Materia Prima Foundation has become the label of “Fattoria di Travalda”, one of the Castellani organic wines
