These jewels are born from the long research that Caterina Sbrana has been conducting on the transformations of the landscape, on seeds and on wild plants.
With the capsules of papaver roheas, the wild poppy, used as a mark, the artist is used to trace a bestiary of sleeping animals and maps of the places of the wild harvesting areas, a ritual work that starts again at each flowering season.
The capsules that stand out on these jewels are some of those used to trace out the drawings and collected by the artist in the Tuscan countryside.
This pin has a contemporary, and at the same time, ancient design and it is a unique handmade piece: a signet that represent the memory of a flower and the deep link between human and vegetal geography.
