This collection of hanging plates is an offshoot of the main artwork Lapidaria, an artistic project by Caterina Sbrana and Gabriele Mallegni, an archive under construction of stones and objects that tells us the history and geography of a place and the ancient relationship that binds mankind to the mountain.
In this artwork, an ongoing cycle, the stones collected on the block streams of the Monti Pisani, a sort of rivers of stones, a geological residues of the ancient glaciations, are returned by Caterina and Gabriele in painted ceramic and hybridized with everyday objects. A work on human time that meets geological time.
Each piece of this collection is a hand-made and a hand-painted unique piece.

The plates of the series Lapidaria are collector plates not suitable for containing food, the final patina is given with colors not suitable for food, the mat and painted part cannot be washed.
