These jewels are born from the long research that Caterina Sbrana has been conducting on the transformations of the landscape, on seeds and on wild plants.
With the capsules of papaver roheas (the wild poppy) used as a mark, the artist traces animals and maps of the places of the wild harvesting areas, a ritual work that starts again at each flowering season.
The capsules that stand out on these jewels are some of those used to trace out the drawings and collected by the artist in the Tuscan countryside.
These earrings are made by casting the top of two poppy capsules, they have a contemporary, and at the same time, an ancient design and they are unique handmade pieces that represent the memory of a flower and the deep link between human and vegetal geography.
